The Cheltenham International Film Festival has increased the discount it is giving CFS members on its Women in Film programme from 10 per cent to 50 per cent (cheltfilm.com). The five films included are Capernaum (May 27), Mug (May 28), Happy as Lazzaro (May 30), Mary Queen of Scots (May 30) and Birds of Passage (June 1). Members should already have received an email giving them the code they need to unlock the discount on each ticket. You can use this at the online box office or when booking by telephone or in person. If you have already bought tickets at the original discount, you can claim the extra amount.
If you have not received the email, contact us at email@example.com and we will resend you the code. There are also discounts at Brasserie Blanc (20 per cent off the à la carte menu and 10 per cent off other meals if wine is included) and The Botanist for the period of the festival, on presentation of a festival ticket and a CFS card. The festival has also introduced improved membership options. These give a 20 per cent discount on all the films except the opening feature and cost £50 as standard, £40 for over-60s and £30 for under-25s. Members also get free entry to Mary Queen of Scots.GET THE FESTIVAL PROGRAMME
